HELP! i still havent started my period?

I have been prescribed prometrium – 100mg per day for menopausal hot flashes and insomnia. I’ve gained 20lbs over 6 months of using it. I work out everyday and my daily caloric intake is not high. My diet is well balanced and my work out is vigorous ie running 2 miles and weight training. The only thing that seems to be the cause is this hormone. Does anyone out there have any stories to share with me about their own bio identical hormone replacement therapy?

I am at my wit’s end. Doesn’t matter what I do, eat, drink, anything. I’ve gained 10 pounds of fat over the past 3 years, and it has all settled very “happily” on my stomach area. That is a lot of fat in such a short time period. My weight is still within the “average” range and I am seriously contemplating liposection. Yes! I have read and read and read about need to restrict calories and exercise! Been there, doing it. Not working. Anyone have any experience or knowledge of surgical success for this type of fat reduction?
